His father was a member of the Self Defense Forces and participated in the original Akira project prior to World War III. The Colonel is one of the few people who know the secret of Akira. Arogant and self centered, although very caring towards the espers, he does'nt need special powers to control people, they follow him and don't argue. During the film the Colonel puts out a decree to arrest all committe members and puts himself in charge of Neo Tokyo. |
